Veterans Month

Throughout November, Veterans Month 2022 at UW–Madison honors Badger veterans and service members. Each year, we acknowledge and celebrate the impact of the military community on the UW–Madison campus through storytelling efforts, including the self-submission Badger Veteran Photo Project, and a series of events.

See the event listings below for detailed information. If you have any questions or need accommodations, contact University Veteran Services at veterans@wisc.edu or 608-265-4628.

Jolene Anders in uniform, holding a certificate of promotion.

Last summer, Student Affairs was honored to welcome back Jolene Anders to the UW–Madison campus after nearly two years of active-duty service with the Wisconsin National Guard. Anders, who serves as the UW’s veteran services coordinator and certifying official, shares her story during Veterans Month. We thank her for serving our country and are so happy to have her back supporting military-connected students at UW–Madison.
