evaluations

The professors and the student writers you will work with will be asked to evaluate the Writing Fellows Program, as well as your individual performance, at the end of the semester. Rebecca will ask you then how many students you have been working with and will give you the right number of Class Evaluation Forms. It will be your responsibility to ask the professor to distribute the forms to the students to complete during class time.

At the beginning of the subsequent semester, you'll have a chance to read these evaluations and use your students' feedback to set goals and priorities for you Fellowing that semester.

Evaluations are most helpful when they're most specific; remind your students of this, and encourage them to say more than "I loved my Fellow!" or "I didn't like this program"; the more they can explain about what you did that was so great, or what about the program frustrated them, the better.
