Literary Analysis: No Problem!
2 hours

Intended Audience

Undergraduate students who are writing papers in their literature classes and who want to learn how to organize and develop critical papers.

Overview

If you’re confused about how to write a critical analysis assigned in your beginning literature class, fret no more! This workshop is designed to make your task easier. You’ll explore the organizational strategies that work best in writing papers about literature, look at strategies for doing a close reading, and discover what elements your instructor is looking for in your writing.

In this workshop we’ll explore critical strategies as well as organizational ones. We’ll also talk about mistakes that students frequently make when writing critical analyses.
