Video Update
The five part videotape series Life and Death Before
Birth -- Evaluation of the Stillborn, funded by the
Perinatal Foundation of Wisconsin, is ready for
distribution. Many of you should have already received
your set, and others of you will receive them soon. We
are quite pleased with the finished product and hope that
these videos will be useful inservice tools.
The User's Manual includes evaluation forms and
pre/post test questionnaires that will allow us to
monitor the use and effectiveness of the videotapes. We
look forward to your comments.
If you are not from a WiSSP participating hospital and
therefore will not automatically receive a copy of the
videotape set, an order form is included in this issue
(p. 11).

RSVP?
In the first issue of WiSSPers we introduced you to the
various 'departments' that you could expect to find in
future issues, including one titled 'RSVP'. This section
was intended as a place to share readers' comments,
suggestions, opinions and thoughts. You may have noticed
RSVP has yet to appear in any issue. This is not due to
ruthless editing, but rather we have not heard from any
of you.
What about it? Anything you'd like to say or let us
know about? Any questions you'd like us to answer? Any
changes you'd like us to consider, or opinions to
express? We're waiting!

Research Collaboration
We are collaborating with Dr. Les Biesecker from the
Center for Human Genome Research, NIH, on a project to
help identify causes of stillbirth in cases where the
etiology of multiple defects is currently unknown. Read
more about this exciting project on pp. 10- 11.
