To request a single copy of any journal article, contact us at:

Articles will be photocopied and mailed within two business days. Please prepay with VISA or MasterCard. Articles up to 29 pages in length are priced at $15.00. Articles containing 30 or more pages are priced at $25.00.

Alternate/Online Sources

Adobe PDF files of current and recent articles from all of our journals may be downloaded from our online content provider, HighWire Press, for $17 per article (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).

Regarding Contributors Requesting PDF Files of their Articles

The University of Wisconsin Press does not supply contributors with PDF versions of their articles. We suggest that authors making such requests do the following:

Personally Subscribe to the journal which would enable you to download a PDF version of any article.

Check Your Institution’s Library for an active journal subscription, and if the library subscribes, you can download a PDF file of any article from the online edition. If your library does not subscribe, encourage them to do so by using our easy-to-use Library Recommendation Form.

Check Your Institution's Library for an active Project MUSE® Subscription, and if the library subscribes, you can download a PDF file of any article from the online edition. If your library does not subscribe, encourage them to do so by using our easy-to-use Library Recommendation Form. Project MUSE currently provides access to Contemporary Literature, Luso-Brazilian Review, Monatshefte, and SubStance.

 

Go to HighWire Press, locate your article, and as a non-subscriber pay the $17 fee via credit card enabling you to download the article as a PDF.
