University of Wisconsin Press books are carried by many wholesalers.
Libraries and institutions may order from the wholesaler of their

Individuals
University of Wisconsin Press books are stocked at many bookstores
in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia,
and Japan, and are also available in many other countries at
stores that carry a wide array of scholarly and English-language
books. We encourage you to support your local bookstores. To

in the world beside Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the
Caribbean, you may order from our customer service department
in the United States via our secure online shopping cart system
or by phone, mail, or fax. All orders from individuals must include
shipping and handling charges. Individuals must prepay in U.S.
dollars drawn on a U.S. bank or use VISA or MasterCard.
Secure Shopping Cart
With our Shopping Cart System, you can use your credit card to
buy books online without the risk that someone may intercept
and steal your credit card number. Encryption software built
into your browser and into our server shield your information
from prying eyes.
How do I use it?
You can browse our catalog and select the books you might like
to buy by clicking on the icons "Add this book to cart"
or "Buy this book now" on each individual book's page
to begin the process, and then follow the instructions. When
you are ready to check out, you will fill out a form with your
name, address, shipping preferences, credit card number, email
address, and so on. After you submit you order, we will send
you a confirming email. You can expect to receive your books
within 2 to 6 weeks in North America, 4 to 10 weeks in other
countries.
