Study of Brazilian Theater and AIDS wins Steinberg Book Prize
Tentative Transgressions: Homosexuality, AIDS, and the Theater in Brazil, authored by Severino J. Albuquerque, has won the 2008 Elizabeth A. Steinberg Prize for a book that has brought great distinction to the University of Wisconsin Press. In even-numbered years, the prize goes to a University of Wisconsin System author and in odd-numbered years to a book by a Wisconsin resident on a Wisconsin topic. more
