Leary is professor of folklore and Scandinavian studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His books include Yodeling in Dairyland, So Ole Says to Lena, and Wisconsin Folklore. Richard March is Folk and Community Arts Specialist at the Wisconsin Arts Board.
