"A revolution is needed in nursing education no less dramatic than the one instigated by Florence Nightingale."Sr. Mary Margaret Mooney
"Nancy Diekelmann, in particular, is a scholar with one of the most extraordinary minds that I have ever known. Her work on narrative pedagogies is original. . . . All of the pedagogies described here flow from Nancy Diekelmann's research on new pedagogies, research that is sound, relevant, and highly respected. Overall, this book challenges educators to think in totally new ways about our educational environment and the roles played by learners, teachers, and the recipients of health care. It is scholarly, thoughtful, and it describes cutting-edge innovations that will enhance the educational enterprise."Theresa M. Valiga, EdD, RN, National League for NursingThis is volume 2 in the series, Interpretive Studies in Healthcare and the Human Sciences
