What Are Parent Resources? In 2001, two undergraduate students approached the University Child Care Committee about the need for a coordinated campus resource for parents. They believed that parents, especially student parents, were isolated on campus and that locating resources was difficult, time-consuming and at times, un-successful. In 2002, The Office of Child Care and Family Resources began developing and coordinating services for the parent population. The Resource Specialist is responsible for coordinating parent and parent-child events; everything from family yoga to workshops on behavior management. Call or e-mail to request a list of current activities. We are dedicated to changing the "little" things at UW-Madison that could make a big difference for you and your family.
