Hors d’ oeuvres will be provided and a cash bar will be available.  There will be a silent auction and a raffle all donated by individuals and local businesses. In addition to the many area businesses who provided donations for our silent auction and raffle, we would also like to thank the Chancellor's Office, University Book Store and individuals who provided a donation to support the cost of the event. This year's event will honor the accomplishments of campus early childhood educators for their outstanding service to the university. Each has 20+ years of service on campus and has shown commitment and dedication to the university child care system and to early childhood education. The quality of their work is exceptional!

The campus child care system is comprised of 10 centers that serve approximately 700 children each week.  All provide high quality care and are nationally and/or City of Madison accredited.  The centers provide early care and education for the children of UW faculty, staff and students while fulfilling the University’s mission of teaching, research and outreach.

Jazzin' 2008 is sponsored by Bernie's Place in collaboration with the Office of Child Care and Family Resources. Proceeds from Jazzin' will benefit the Connie L. Wilson Center Grant Fund, which annually provides grants to campus child care centers and the New Initiatives Fund, which funds new campus programming and new building initiatives.
