Budget and FundingCCTAP and SSFCThe CCTAP program is administered by the Office of Child Care and Family Resources and is funded through student segregated fees that are assessed each semester. Therefore, to be eligible for CCTAP, the student must be enrolled as a student at UW-Madison and pay segregated fees. The CCTAP budget is determined each year and is also supported by an annual contribution through the Teacher's Assistant Association (TAA) Contract. Award amounts are based on total funding available. It is important to note the exceptional commitment and responsiveness of the Student Government in supporting this program; and to the hundreds of student parents who have made their needs known to student government. CCTAP Funding 1985-2007
How does student government understand the needs of student parents?Student AdvocacyCCTAP is only as strong as the will of student parents in advocating for their needs. We are fortunate to have a highly responsive student government that has supported CCTAP funding since 1985.
