How to Apply

WHO?

You should apply for AIM if:

  • you are an undergraduate student parent (mother or father) enrolled in a degree program at UW-Madison,
  • you have child(ren) enrolled, or wish to enroll your children, at one of the eight campus child care centers,
  • you have applied, and are eligible for Child Care Tuition Assistance Program (CCTAP),
  • and if you receive, or are eligible to receive, a Pell Grant.

We understand that there is a lot of paperwork to fill out when applying for financial assistance, but because AIM funds are contingent upon you applying for and receiving CCTAP, it is crucial that AIM recipients follow CCTAP procedures. For more information on CCTAP, click here.

HOW?

Step 1: Fill out a CCTAP Application (PDF) if you have not.
Step 2: Come to the Office of Child Care and Family Resources and pick up an application for AIM, or print out this AIM Application (PDF).
Step 3: Complete the application and send it (with required documents attached), along with your completed CCTAP Application if you have not already applied
