Info:

Last summer I began working as a Senior Research Scientist at Promega.  I work in the Genetic Identity group making kits and reagents for molecular biology and DNA typing (e.g.paternity testing, forensic DNA analysis, human identity testing and tissue culture strain identification).  I have also began teaching at some courses offered at the Biopharmaceutical Technology Center Institute, a non-profit training institute that resides on out campus and offers life-science education programs from grade-school to graduate-school level.

Research Interests:

Promega Company develops kits and reagents for labs as well as forensics applications. Specifically, Marty works with enzymes. His work is funded by a grant that Promega was awarded through NASA.  For confidentiality reasons, further information on what research Marty will be conducting is unavailable.
