ALS represents the university, including individual officials acting in their official capacities. ALS does not represent individual faculty or staff members, administrators, or students in personal legal matters outside the scope of their business as university officials.
Individuals needing personal assistance may want to contact the State Bar of Wisconsin Lawyer Referral and Information Service, 257-4666, or the Legal Information Center, 265-2396, which is staffed by. UW-Madison law students who provide basic, free advice, counsel and referral.
