Examinations, Time Constraints Yes, Yes Students in the K12 Leadership strand who are seeking a master's degree and administrative certification are required to submit a portfolio to fulfill program requirements. Students in the Higher, Postsecondary and Continuing Education strand are required to complete a capstone experience to fulfill program requirements. Students in the K12 Leadership strand who are not seeking an administrative certification and students in the Policy strand are required to complete a master's examination. The master's examination is taken during the final semester of course work that fulfills program requirements. The examination is offered three times a year near the end of each academic semester or summer session. |
Examinations, Time Constraints Yes, Yes The qualifying examination may be taken after the completion of 18 credits and no later than after the completion of 24 credits and before filing for the preliminary examination. The preliminary examination must be passed within seven years from the date of admission to the program. |
