Specific Courses Yes At least 6 credits should be from course work at the 500 level and above from an engineering department and/or a technical area of specialization. Candidates completing a thesis must take a minimum of 18 of the 24 required credits as course credits. Nonthesis option requires a minimum of 30 credits.
