Specific Credits Yes Candidates in the research option must complete a minimum of 10 credits; no more than half the credits earned for required courses may satisfy this minimum; conference and seminar credits cannot be used to satisfy this minimum. Candidates in the course work option must complete a minimum of 30 credits; 9 of the required 30 credits must be at the 600 level or above (exclusive of conference credits); up to 9 of the required 30 credits can be conference credits; seminar credits cannot be used to satisfy this minimum. With permission of the advisor, up to 8 credits of graduate course work from another university may be applied toward the course requirements.
