Students wishing to earn honors in creative writing should consult the advisor regarding the application procedure and requirements. The honors curriculum consists of the requirements of the "general" creative writing major but also includes the following additional requirements: English 381 and English 481. It is recommended that students begin the curriculum in the first semester of their sophmore year, if possible.
Students must take one course in the 4 credit format (selected from 215,216, or 217). The fourth credit is a writing-intensive workshop focusing on drafts and the revision of papers required by the course.
