Modern British and American literature, especially modern poetry and poetics, the avant garde, the role of women in the rise of modernism, and contemporary feminist poetry in the United Kingdom. Individual figures who are subjects for current research include H.D., Moore, Eliot, Pound, Stein, Sitwell, Richardson, and Woolf.
