This site is an instructional reference source developed to complement Ecology, the new undergraduate text edited by Stanley I. Dodson of the University of Wisconsin, written by eight distinguished U.W. authors, and published by Oxford University Press.
Faculty wishing to adopt Ecology as a course text should register by using the registration page. Registered users will receive a password which gives them full access to the site including the figures for Chapters Two through Eight.
Visitors are welcome to peruse this site, read the introductory discussions for lab and field activities, data bases and models, and sample exams. We also have an annotated links page to many other educational and reference sources, and a promotional page detailing companion texts and readings. Be sure to peruse our sample figures in Chapter One, which include high-resolution images to download.
