Environmental Studies

An undergraduate major in environmental studies is not available at UW-Madison. However, undergraduates from any school or college on campus can participate in an environmental studies certificate program offered by the Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. The 26-credit, elective, interdisciplinary program complements academic degree and major requirements. For information on the certificate program, see the Undergraduate Catalog or contact the Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, Academic Programs Office, Room 70 Science Hall, (608) 263-1796, iescertificate@mail.ies.wisc.edu, or visit the website: http://www.nelson.wisc.edu/undergrad/
