Special Opportunities & Additional Information
- Undergraduate students suually enter the secondary education professional program as seniors after completing at least 28 credits in biology course work required for the major.
- Enrollment is limited and admission is competitive.
- In addition to taking liberal studies and course work for the major, students complete a four-semester sequence of education and teaching methodology courses combined with school-based field experiences. This major usually takes five years to complete.
