Summer Science Institute
Position Announcement: Summer Science Institute June 22 - August 8, 2008
The Center for Biology Education is seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic graduate and undergraduate students as instructors and counselors for its 2007 Summer Science Institute. SSI is a residential precollegiate summer enrichment program for high potential minority and underserved high school students from Wisconsin and throughout the country. Each summer, students come to the UW-Madison and work with university faculty, staff, and students on biological research.
Graduate and undergraduate students with substantial research experience are needed to work with a pair of students and provide content and technical background for student research projects. They serve as mentor and guide all facets of the research project. Instructors are needed for a variety of sub-disciplines.
