Two long arc xenon lamps rated at 20kW each provide a full spectrum "sunlight" simulation. There is enough ultra-violet light emitted to permit accelerated aging studies with plastics and other materials.
This is a plan view of the high light room. The two 20kW xenon lamps are above lamp barriers which are 7 feet off the floor. Light measurements were taken with 9 sensors in the configuration shown, and the results are displayed in the table below.
