Areas of Research and Teaching:
Visual Culture, early modern to contemporary, Europe and the Americas; Colonial Cultural Studies and Postcolonial Theory; Media and Technology Studies; Gender Studies and Queer Theory; and Visual Studies connecting Historical Study, Theoretical Speculation, and Studio Practice. Practicing photographer.
