A monthly seminar series (sponsored by the Sections of Geriatrics and Gerontology and the Center for Neuroscience) aimed at providing a focal point for the dissemination of information and increasing the awareness of neurodegenerative disease research performed on campus. Each month a research laboratory presents two talks each of about 35-40 minutes. "Cholesterol and Alzheimer's Disease" May 6th: Luigi Puglielli, M.D., Ph.D. "p44 and APP: synergistic regulation of the aging program?" June 3rd: Craig Atwood, Ph.D. "Hormones, Stem Cells and Alzheimer's Disease" Time: First Tuesday of each month (except January, 2nd Tuesday), 12:00-1:30 PM.
