(AHEAD) is an international, multicultural organization of professionals
committed to full participation in higher education for persons with disabilities.
The Association promotes excellence through education, communication and
training.
Attention Deficit Disorder Association
(ADDA) focuses especially on the needs of AD/HD adults and young adults
with AD/HD.
The HEATH Resource Center is the
national clearinghouse on post-secondary education for individuals with
disabilities. Support from the U.S. Department of Education enables the
clearinghouse to serve as an information exchange about educational support
services, policies, procedures, adaptations, and opportunities at American
campuses, vocational-technical schools, and other post-secondary training
entities.
LD-Online is a leading website sponsored
by WETA (the leading public broadcasting station in the nation’s
capital) on learning disabilities for parents, teachers and other professionals.
