Academic catalogs: Purchasing catalogs

The University of Wisconsin–Madison official catalogs are published by University Communications for the university’s schools, colleges, and departments. Another useful resource for academic information is the Departments and Programs page, containing a directory of links to schools, colleges, and department home pages.

Catalogs are provided free of charge to enrolled students on campus and at new student orientation. Prospective or newly admitted students wishing to purchase a catalog in advance of their arrival on campus may do so by phone (toll-free) or by mail.

The Graduate School Catalog (stock #3100) and the Undergraduate Catalog (stock #3999) are available for sale through the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s Document Sales Unit located in Madison, Wisconsin.

Credit card orders using Visa or Mastercard are welcome on the toll-free number, 1-800-362-7253. In Madison, orders may be placed by calling 266-3358.

Mail orders are welcome. Please include the title and stock number of the catalog you want, your street mailing address, and a check or money order in the proper amount made payable to Wisconsin Department of Administration (see costs below).
